advertisements on the radio and TV that make a habit of saying things like:"Because you deserve it"
"You owe it to yourself"
"You're worth it"
.?
They have no idea if I deserve it.
I may not owe myself anything.
And how would they know if I'm worth it?
Silly advertisers, trying to get my business by making me feel important.
I see through your games.

Dude, you have no idea how much these ads cut into me... It's not typically ads like you're talking about where they tell me I "need" it or "owe it to myself"... It's more like I should buy this just because it's 40% off, or they sent a 50% coupon. I'm getting better though... evil business people... oh wait, that's my major :/
